 FAQs

  • I understand that everyone thinks and works differently. My approach is flexible, gentle, and free of judgment. By adapting my methods to suit your energy, focus, and comfort level, we’ll get the job done together.

  • I use simple, step-by-step methods and break tasks into small chunks. Super mindful of sensory needs, energy levels, and how you process decisions, so the process feels manageable.

  • Absolutely not. Many clients feel embarrassed or ashamed before starting the process, but I see clutter as part of life - not a reflection of your worth. You’ll always be treated with respect and empathy.

  • It depends on your goals, the size of the space, and the pace that works best for you. Some people prefer short, frequent sessions; others like longer ones. We’ll create a plan that feels right for you.

  • Yes. You’re in charge of how fast or slow we go. I’ll check in often to make sure you’re comfortable and not overwhelmed. We can set a “break needed” safeword or gesture to help you feel at ease. I understand that sometimes communication can be another task on top of an already effort-filled day.

  • Of course. Breaks are encouraged whenever you need them. We can pause, reset, or shift tasks so you don’t burn out.

  • That’s totally okay (and honestly, very probable!). We’ll gently guide you back to the task or adjust the plan if needed. If sound, light, or too many decisions feel overwhelming, we’ll slow things down and simplify. We can discuss any accommodations you might need before the session.

  • Yes. If decisions feel tough, we’ll ask gentle questions and give you options without pressure. You always make the final choice.

  • Always. Nothing is moved or donated without your permission. Your home and belongings are yours — I’m here to support with suggestions and to give advice. Additionally, I would not declutter anyone else’s belongings in the space during this process, unless they have given permission to do so.

  • Yes. We’ll work together to create rituals and storage that match how you think and live — not a one-size-fits-all system. ADHDers particularly deal with ‘system boredom decay’, which means that we need to build an amount of flexibility into your systems as they change (and you lose interest) over time.

  • Yes. I can provide check-ins, follow-up sessions, or maintenance plans to help you stay on track. You won’t be left on your own unless you want to be.
